JLPT N4 GRAMMAR: ～では/～には/～へは/～からは/～までは

は is used to highlight a noun as a topic by placing it after the noun. When other particles (e.g. で, に,へ etc) follow the noun, は is placed after it to mark the other particle as a topic.

Example sentences:

私の学校にはアメリカ人の先生があります。
Watashi no gakkō ni wa amerikahito no sensei ga arimasu.
In my school there is an American teacher.
मेरे स्कूल में एक अमेरिकी शिक्षक है।

私の学校では中国語が習えます。
Watashi no gakkōde wa chūgokugo ga naraemasu.
In my school we can learn Chinese language.
मेरे स्कूल में चीनी सीख सकते है।
